Yeah... i recently broke my record for not jacking off since i discovered it, like 5 years ago. The record was 3 days, i lasted 5... and it was only because there was no way i could (no privacy).

So i kinda started questioning, maybe i just have an incredibly high libido (having before blamed it on boredom), but either way, it feels really good, so i masturbate like 3 times a day...

I also hear there's a 'porn addiction', well, its a preference but not a necessity - my mind seems to compensate very well... further leading me to believe that its just my libido... but then I'm worried that it will all go away one sad day...

I guess it depend on how you define an addiction. People who believe they have porn/masturbation/sex addiction(s) usually feel that way when it comes to a point where porn/masturbation/sex is interfering with their lives in an undesireable manner. If masturbation is interfering with your work, studies, motivation, romantic relationships, friendships, etc. it may well be a problem.

But if its not affecting you negatively and you don't foresee that it will, then it shouldn't be a problem. It all comes to down to examining your life and being honest with yourself.

Personally, I can go weeks without doing it, and at other times I can do it 3 times a day. But I never feel I have to or need to, and because I'm currently in a relationship I try to share sexual experiences with my partner instead of just myself.

I have gone through this problem for awhile. I have been doing it once a day mostly, and at most 3 times. The difference for me, is that i never even wanted to do it in the first place. I would just start doing it because i had to know everything i could, especially about my own body, then when i tried to go on without it for certain amount of days, i would start feeling extremely uncomfortable, anxious, and miserable. So sometimes i try to go a day without it now adays and yeah the same thing happens when i go a day without it i am just unrelaxed, and generally annoyed from everything. With that being said, it is nice doing the act, but it seriously feels like i'm a slave to my body in that aspect. Like i feel forced to do it and take time out of life.
