i just took a drug test at my pain clinic and tested positive for oxy and opi. i have a script for hydrocodone and have never taken oxy anything...i know they are both opiates but why would i have tested positive for oxy and not just opiates alone? my dr didnt say anything about the test i just looked at it when i got home but im kinda scared when i go in next month that he will have something to say.

If you haven't done oxy's then why worry? Just tell him what happened. He knows about your subscription and probably also knows that something went wrong with the test, which is why he didn't say anything.

weird. you'll be alright but usually opiates only tests for codeine, oxycontin/codone, and of course morphine. I thought vicodin had to be tests for seperately seeing how its an opiod not opiate.
