I'll start off by saying that I normally take oxycodone through out the day but lately my oxy connect has been down leaving me only vicodin. So for the last 2-3 days I've taking around 80mg of hydrocodone throughout the day and noticed I am much sleepier, having to take a nap midday, than when taking oxy throughout the day. In fact oxycodone almost seems to have a stimulating effect. Has anyone else noticed these differences in the two painkillers?
Abusing opiates getting hight often leaves you sleepy but insomniatic, as in you try to sleep yet cannot. weaker opiates just make you tired but you dont get high or as high so you dont stay awake. weird isnt it.Im sure someone will come by and say no they make you sleep, but from personal experience i have trouble sleeping when im all fukd up on pills
well looks like the sleepyness is over for a while and my liver can rest haha, just picked up some roxi 30s
i once got me some hydrocodone when I had bronchitis man. I took a bit only before i'd go to sleep, it would knock me right out
hey "insomniatic" is a word, the last few posts ive seen of yours makes me think that not only do you know little of what you comment on, but also of things in general. Just because the spelling on here puts a red line under a word doesnt always mean that its spelled wrong. You are not 18 or older, go get mommy to buy you an encyclopedia. Oh and let me quote what you posted in the "whats your favorite opiate" topic. you say... "hydrocodone is all im down for" you are such a badass little kid
Hydro's don't make me sleepy, at least at first. In fact, they actually energize me to a certain extent. It's when they start to wear off that I begin to get drowsy. And like another poster said, even though I'm drowsy, it's hard to sleep.
Insomniatic....haven't heard the word before, but it made sense. Insomniac, being a noun in reference to one who can't sleep. Insomniatic is an adjective, (in this case), describing the state you're in when opies are circulating in the system, stimulating dopamine production and whatnot! Seems ironic....somniferum causing insomnia...but it happens. I get it.
