I have a friend who once paid $50 (i know, ridiculous) for a gram of 'dro and he said it was awesome. I've had my share of beautiful nuggets, namely white widow, and he says 'dro is better, even though i doubt he's ever tried WW. All my friends are in love with 'dro and almost splooge when they talk about it. So is 'dro really that great, or are they just insane?

Beep Beep Beep Public Service Announcement: dro (I hate that terminology) - is a method of growth white widow - is a strain you can grow white widow hydroponically, I know because I have done it. furthermore, the strongest and best weed is grown organically in dirt. You can produce hydro organically, but it very difficult to balence nutrients in that medium. Ever since I moved to Florida all anyone talks about down here is 'dro'. I just have to laugh as even the best of the best 'dro' I've seen is mass produced shit compared to the organic growers up north.

hydro should cost less because it's much easier to mass produce. as long as the nutes are flushed dro and soil will produce the same taste and get u just as high. lol, some people round here are real idiots too. they believe if it's not trimmed properly (a lot of leaf material) then it's outdoors, and if it's trimmed well it must be hydro...heh....cracks me up.
Screw hydro,its for $ hungry folk looking for faster/bigger yields.If ya want to truly enjoy bud,whatever variety at there best,then soil grown organics is the direction ya need to go.Anyone that has smoked true organics by a seasoned grower will tell ya exacly the same,"fuck hydro".
Ok, if one person says he has BC hydro, or BC Bud(basically same, if one is grown in soil, or in a hydroponics kit, they are both around same potency.) Check for light green buds, with lots of crystals, lots of red hairs, big and tight. Also the smell should smell more like Pine or mint. Plus the smoke might taste kinda like Pine or mint. and the high is wonderful, the feeling is very intense, you can lose self control very easily. Also when you inhale, the smoke should be alot warmer than usual. I know this because I live about 4 hours away from BC. Alot of BC bud comes around here. Just last week I smoked 6 small roaches in the gravity bong. Between me and 3 other people, each got 2 good hits and 1 medium hit. We where all fucked out of our minds. But if people come around saying they got BC hydro, unless they live nearby BC or live in Canada and make trips down there every now and then, they will not have BC bud unless they do that. all HydroPonics is high potent, but just a little bit more work when growing in soil will work just as good. When people say they have hydro, its prolly just a scam to get your money. If they say they have to take your money and go get it, DO NOT LET THEM UNLESS YOU ARE %100 SURE THEY WILL COME BACK. People will steal your money, they will not hesitate.
i agree with meangreen, hydro is easy and quicker and what not, but theres is nuthinng better tasting IN THE WORLD then 100 percent outdoor organic bud. i dont know why, im not even gonna try to explain it cus i have no idea. but the best tasting bud in my mind, has been a nice healthy sativa, grown in wonderful fresh air, and exposed to the most alive and healthy soil. you might think im crazy, but i will always grow organic and outdoors, not skimp out on my buyers with some mass produced scientific shit. this is how i think of it. because hydro, you use things like rockwool....etc., you dont give the plant natural variation. you give it what it needs to survive and nothing more. that would be like someone creating a pill that encapsules an entire meal. you see what im saying? anyway, theres nuthing like growing a natural plant in its natural surroundings. theo
Why does everyone make a big deal about hydroponics? Organically grown weed gets a lot more potent, anyway. Hydro weed just produces higher yields at a faster rate. Geez. Your friend got ripped.
I have real hydro before it is really good but not worth 50 bucks a gram around here for real hyfro ists $25 bucks a gram or $80 for and 1/8th
my buddy's bro can get an ounze of BC Hydro for $150 around in the city of Edmonton, I love that deal!
