i am an average vicodin user (probably done around 30 pills overall), and the last time i ate one i got pretty sick to my stomach. the first time i did it (15 mg) i threw up. but this last time was my first time mixing it with weed. i only did 7.5 mg's and smoked about 2 bowls of dank. it was chill at first, but after about 2 hours after taking it i fell asleep. i woke up dizzy as fuck, and felt sick. on top of that i had to go to school (about 2 hours late. didnt feel like going to first period). so i smoked another bowl (big mistake) and got a ride to school. the feeling got worse, and lasted much longer than the high would have. it finally went away at about 1... about 4 1/2 hours after i took it. there could be three causes for this. 1. i dropped acid the night before. 2. the weed and hydro had a bad reaction. 3. i didn't eat for around 24 hours before i took it (remember i tripped the day before). can anybody identify the cause of this reaction?
Your body just cant handle it and how much APAP was in the hydros, maybe to much for your body. Weird, I only get sick when I go over 3000mg of APAP.
Yes it's unusual for someone to have a reaction to hydrocodone, but it does happen occasionally. I pity those people Have you taken Tylenol before with no ill effects? If so one way to test it would be to take 3 500 mg Tylenols and see if your symptoms reappear. (Smoke if ya' got it but try to stay off anything else). An adverse effect with this amount of acetaminophen could indicate liver problems. If the Tylenol doesn't affect you, it would likely be you're intolerant to hydrocodone. Don't give up hope though, some people who can't tolerate Vicodin can take Percs with no problems.
It gets easier the more times you do it. In the mean time take with plenty of water and maybe a couple slices of bread. But I wouldn't take antacids. Remember, vomiting is a defense mechanism. It's possible you could have an underlying problem.
