Hi everyone! :p I've got such problem and maybe you could help me.. or not help me, but just your opinion about this stuff would be really helpful for me.. You kow, I'm almost 16, and I've got this problem: The older men (40+) find me really cute and pretty.. etc.. you know :p but the boy, who I love, takes me as just a friend.. don't know what to do.. About 5 men told me "why am I not younger..?" and the boy I love thinks I'm just his friend... (although he knows I love him) ...
    what would you do..?!

I don't think there's anything you can do other than to stay close to the boy you love and share something special with him. Even if it's only friendship. You can't make someboy love you, so try not to tread too clumsily there. Maybe he'll come around and think differently of you someday or maybe he never will. Just enjoy the feeling he gives you in the mean time and remain close friends. Just remember, you will find that feeling in someone who feels the same way about you eventually. But you may have to adjust to the idea that he just might not be the one.

But I think comparing him to others who find you attractive is only setting yourself up for alot of frustration. The fact he want's to remain friends does not mean that he doesn't find you attractive either. Attraction and love are two different things. You will likely find someone you love attractive of course, but a person you find attractive will not necessarily be someone you love.

Btw, you need to keep a very watchful eye on the intent of these older guys. Seems you are looking for some sort of validation in others since you cannot have the one you want. Don't fall prey to it, be careful! ~7

weeell... I know what you're talkin' about and I hope I'll find that somebody who'll love me for my personality and not for that how I'm lookin' (I actually don't look like some playmate or whatever :p but just like a normal girl...:sunglasse )
But I'm actually really confused sometimes when the older men say I look good and the boys who are old as well as me don't.. or maybe they do but they're ashamed to say...:p
Hey, I don't want you to think I'm just such a girlie who's interested just in make-up and Britney Spears, you know, but right now, I'm confused hippy girl and I need to talk about it with somebody... thank you.:)

Well, maybe you're too mature for the boys your age. Although 40 and over, sounds way too old for you. As far as the friend of yours that you have feelings for.....I'm not sure. Sorry, male -female relationships aren't exactly my specialty. I can tell you this much, don't sleep with him, because it will only hurt you in the end. I say, just be open to love.

Heh, yeah, I'm reopening this thread..

cause this problem, happens to me on and on and on..

today, the same.. some older man came to me and like.. "hmm, really cute".. you know, but some boys from my class.. hm, they take me as a friend.. yeaaah..

The problem is, I also would love to have some older man than a boy, but I'm afraid of.. shit's... :H
