My name is Eric. I was pointed in the direction of this VERY COOL PLACE by Psych-Head Rob over at the JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Forum where I like to hang out... I was born in November 1967-- too late to really dig the "summer of LOVE", or Woodstock, or anything great like that... But nevertheless, I have been an unreconstructed hippie psychedelic punk-rocker all of my teenage / adult life. I love to write and draw and fight AGAINST war and FOR the rights of the oppressed. I stopped eating the flesh of dead animals in 1983 as a sophomore in High School, age 15, after reading "ANIMAL LIBERATION" by Peter Singer and "MAN KIND?" by Cleveland Amory... And also due to listening to the messages contained in the music of anarchist "peace-punk" bands CRASS, CONFLICT, RUDIMENTARY PENI and M.D.C.... I love the music of JIMI HENDRIX, BEATLES, GRATEFUL DEAD, BUTTHOLE SURFERS, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE (of course)... Others too many to mention... As well as deep "roots" reggae inna dub style... Plus soul, jazz, blues, classic rock, rhythm & blues, real-deal punk rock-- ANYTHING with a heartbeat and sincere emotional sentiment, really... I went to my first RAINBOW FAMILY Gathering in 1988 and, for the first time in my whole life, felt like I had finally found the place where I belonged... Now I am on a computer trying to communicate with like-minded souls and it feels kinda like I belong here, too... Even though I just moments ago found out about this place and registered. Just wanted to say "Hello"... I will be around... PEACE & LOVE -- E.

THANK YOU to my like-minded animal-loving new friends!!! Tonight I went to a social gathering of like-minded Veggies who gather every month at the local (Sarasota FLA) WHOLE FOODS MARKET!!! We enjoyed some DELICIOUS vegan "Sheese" and talked about a bunch of cool and important stufff... Everything from saving sea-turtles to Coastal Clean-Ups to a Walk-A-Thon for the local In Defense Of Animals... Good to know that even in this area full of "BEEF--It's What's For Dinner"-types, that there are still some VERY COOL like-minded souls who care about animals and our Earth home... So yeah...
