Ok I'm ready to start college finally... I know the classes I need for my bachelor's in biology so far I am excited but I don't want to go to school unless I'm passing/finishing it.Soo there is chemistry/organic chemistry, I took it for a little bit in school and moved to somewhere else that didn't have that as part of the class I remember it being really hard..Like I'm not gonna lie to you guys. Took apartment psychology ap bio and apparently astronomy in school just for fun but I did try passed astronomy, loved bio...to death..it was my second year of biology when I decided that is what I wanted to pursue, even though in previous years atoms and laws of thermodynamics confused me hated 10th grade science....oh well. It seemed like maybe I just was not developed as others, had some sickness in HS mono, eating disorders that derived from not knowing I had mono, and I used a lot of pot and meditating to cure my depression.. didn't last all through high school though. I definitely wasn't no fat ass either, would exercise all the time... anyway that don't have much to do with anything.. well I just wanted to know if anyone else has a science degree tell me which kind it is ad give mea hardness level 1-10 and I just know it would be cool to be in science weather an earth science teacher, perhaps nutritionist if I have to.. lemme know.. my main goal is to reach for the stars/become a marine biologist.
Do what you want, if you find yourself unable (unlikely) choose something you can do, you'll be getting a taste of other stuff from core classes (thats their point), don't worry, most people change their degree quite a few times. Also, you don't have to be good at every part of science, as long as you can keep up in your areas.
Cool I love it I really do I find it gives me a lot of art work to draw and I like making textbook art
there are quite a few PhD's on food stamps trying to make it as adjunct professors. If what you want is to have financial security look at the marketplace before deciding on a major. If what you want is to fullfill your sense of intellectual curiosity, then persue what you are interested in. If you really have a dream of becoming a marine biologist, go for it, but realize that there aren't that many employed marine biology PhD's who could be described as "not that smart". Maybe talk to some marine biologists and get some feedback from them.
