I've seen a lot of "Can I roll with _____?" or "I need to make a pipe" threads...so I'll share how to make a waterfall pipe/bong out of a Sobe bottle. They are pretty cool, but can be messy.

    What you need:
    - GLASS sobe drink bottle
    [IMG]
    - A socket (I'm using a 5/8 socket)
    - A knife
If you don't have a filter that will fit into your socket you will need:
    - 1 Coat hanger
    - Needle-nose pliers

First, start off by unscrewing the cap to the bottle. Underneath you will see a rubber/plastic guard that seals the bottle. Take your knife and scrape that off, it should peel off in one piece.

You should have an all metal cap like this (I've used mine a couple times so there is already a hole in it):

Take the knife and poke a small hole into the middle of the cap

Line the socket up over the hole and make the hole bigger using the knife, a screwdriver, pen, anything that will push the metal up and into the socket:

If you have a large knife with a corner on the blade, take it and you will make a hole in the glass of the bottle. You can also use a screwdriver for this. Make sure to make the hole at the bottom of the glass. There is an indention on the bottle on one side - BREAK THE GLASS HERE

BE VERY CAREFUL - SMALL PIECES OF GLASS ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS (I've stepped on a tiny piece of glass without knowing it - 3 months later I get a huge callous on the bottom of my foot and I can't put ANY pressure on my heel)

Do this over a sink or outside and point it away from you!

(It is hard to see in this picture but the bottle has a line and turns inwards at a certain point)

After you get a good-sized hole, break away any sharp pieces of glass - most of the time the hole is smooth and is perfect sized. Wash the inside and outside of the bottle thoroughly to get the glass shards out.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FILTER THAT FITS YOUR SOCKET:

Bend a close hanger back and forth, breaking a piece about 4 inches off. Start at one end using a lighter to heat up and burn off any weird coating the wire might have, take your pliers and curl the end into a spiral AS TIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE. Make adjustments so that the clothes hanger filter fits in your socket.

Bend the wire up and over so that it can sit in the socket without being held. Break off any excess wire at the straight end until it sits correctly. It should look something like this:

Your waterfall bong is now complete.

    To use:

    - Fill the bottle with water, not completely though. (You will be holding the hole at the bottom of the bottle with your finger)

    - Place the lid/bowl onto the bottle

    - Fill bowl

    - Light the bowl and release the hole - water will shoot in a pretty strong stream. If you are outside this shouldn't be a huge problem.

    - Remove lid and inhale

I suppose you could make some pretty interesting variations on this.
Try attaching some aquarium hose to the hole and into the bottle. Plug the hole with some clay/gum/putty and fill the bottle with iced water (don't go past the top of the tube!).

    You've got a hosed pipe?

Part of the fun of homemade pieces is creativity. Let your mind go wild!

But, like, smoking pot is bad, man. Like, how can you smoke pot and expect to get a good job in a high paying field, like, ENGINEERING?

The glass is pretty thick, if you hit it right it chips away cleanly. The hole I made is smooth

Did I ever say it was mine? I said there are a lot more people asking what to use for papers or pipes, so I decided to make a picture guide.

What is you problem dude? For real, go back to your cave.

    He's trollin like he does.

I wanna make a big gravity bong but I'm lazy. Ever since I got a pipe, papers, and shells have been easy access, I really don't mess with homemade junk anymore. I think I will start making stuff again, that was always fun.
