I picked up some of my old tee's I never wear anymore and I figure it wouldnt be too too hard to hack one into a head wrap... Now my dreads are fairly short and young, id say 6 inches and 2 weeks-ish, think I could even pull off a wrap? Has anyone experimented before? What works best? Do we have a pattern somewhere?

i sometimes use the selves as a hair wrap. just cut them off, but you could put some more work into it

How do headwraps work? You just pull your dreadlocks through them or what? I haven't really experimented with using wraps, bands, or anything like that.

I tried using sleeves but they were all too small for my head...even an XL shirt. I guess I have a big head, lol. I'm thinking about cutting one into a long strip, and then tying it around my head like a scarf. Anyone tried this before?

I use the bottom part of the shirt. just cut it off and wrap around your head. Can usally wrap it around 2-3 times.
