I was having a conversation with my sister in law about being scared on rollercoasters. For example when it's pulling you slowly to the top and you know theres a drop coming up and your mind is racing with thoughts about what happens if my belt/safety restraint becomes undone or breaks. I think that these people will tend to have bad trips because they aren't able to control their nerves and thoughts, and the same would happen whilst tripping. Keep in mind the roller coaster thing was just an example...anyone else agree or see where I'm coming from?
yeah panic is a bad thing chillin is the only way to go ...i dont know much about how i control my nerves but im always fine by time the trip comes to me
dont think about how you do it too much... otherwise you might find that you aren't capable of control anymore
yeah i guess the way i control my nerves is by just not thinking hah i usually watch a movie when im waiting and coming up it keeps my mind off of things
definitely thinking about that you might have a bad trip can cause a bad trip. you got to go into it with a good mind expecting the best but at the same time prepared for the worst. I dont think its the only way to cause a bad trip though, i had a bad trip several days ago and i was pumped going in. it just happens some times i guess.
once it starts goin bad, your like oh shit im having a bad trip. you try to keep as postive as you can and take your mind off it, but when you start coming across the realisation that your starting to have a bad trip sucks. iv had difficult frightening experiences, however i couldnt say that the hole time was bad. there are only rough patches and good patches aswell. its a rollercoaster. iv had the most amazing experience and the most terryfying experience all in one trip.
i have experienced this. to me it feels like the more i eat lsd, the more sensitive i become to it, almost like an anti tolerance. i've been tripping every 2-4 weeks for the past year and a half...
I just love to start conversations. All I was saying is that, that could be one way to tell. But as the saying goes, "shit happens" and so will bad trips. it's unavoidable kind of
