Okay I just bought some acid on blotter paper. Now i'm not sure how to store it? Help please

  2. First wrap it tightly in tin foil, then throw it in a zip lock bag.
Don't expose it to any heat, even body heat can over-time affect potency.

Also, if you are storing them for an extended period of time, I suggest placing each tab in it's own tin foil wrap, last year I had a problem with potency varying throughout the tabs after they were pressed together tightly for too long.

    Good luck :)

foil and a layer of plastic is good, but if you can wrap it tightly in cellophane it's better for longer storage. the molecules need to avoid light, air, warmth, and moisture and they'll be fine

i sold acid for two years and i always put it in tin foil (you dont have to wrap it "tightly") just make sure its covered all the way and store it in the freezer and dont expose it to sunlight or heat it will be fine.

tightly might have been the wrong word. I just meant don't leave any air pockets. I mentioned cellophane of the off-chance that the tab gets a bit wet in foil. if it's aluminum it can cause a weird chem reaction when water's present. Or so I've read: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_info8.shtml

the part about storage is item C near the bottom of the discussion, though at this point we're probably getting into "apples and oranges" or however the phrase goes :)

If I was you I would go ahead and eat it. But just put it in tin foil , then put that in a ziploc bag. Then put that in the freezer. Don't handle it much. And don't take it out until you eat it as LSD is sensitive and precise chemical compound and is sensitive to light.

One thing I discovered is film canisters, they're airtight, but you still need to put them in a dark place, also someplace cool helps.

From what ive researched (i havent done it yet), a medicine bottle or like the above poster said a film canister, and if you want to be extra careful you could wrap it in tin foil before putting it in, and you should be fine if you store it at room temperature

I keep mine in foil, in a small ziploc, in a cellophane, in a pill bottle, in the fridge. I've had doses lose potency before, so I don't take any chances haha

i used to keep my doses in foil then i read up on the chem reaction that happens which degrades the lsd since then i have kept it in tight paper in a ziploc in the freezer
    it never fails

I recently came across a single ancient hit of Eye in the Pyramid saved from 1984, it was doubled wrapped in clear cellophane tape, taped deep inside an old journal, the hit & page its on looks clean, the journal was in a cool dark place for most of the last 24 years but the outside of the book seems a bit moldy, I'm wondering if it could still be potent? Or deadly toxic? Probably just a dud by now...

I've never really had to store any. I've been a "dose on purchase" kind of guy.
If one was to Buy some and trasport it home via car over a time of about 1-day, what would be the wisest way to store it? Just how long can blotter go at room temperature without losing potency?

I would recommend avoiding the freezer! *gasp* but you're supposed to keep it away from heat! I know right, but here's the problem. Think about how much moisture is in your freezer. Think about what moisture does to LSD. Not a good combination. Unless you have it in a super airtight container go for the refrigerator or just a cool dark place in your house. I keep mine close to an air vent inside a small airtight tupperware container inside another tupperware container that has silicon gel in it, to absorb moisture. Silicon is pretty inert and easy to come by (it comes in new shoes and bags).

^^^If it's airtight/watertight, then it doesn't matter if there is moisture in the freezer.

Right that's why I said unless it's airtight. A lot of people are talking about using just tin foil which is not airtight. But a zip lock bag or a tupperware container would be airtight.

Haha, no worries. It was one tiny sentence in a wall of text. Quite easy to overlook.

I hear and see a lot of people using a freezer to avoid heat. My question is, to avoid the heat, can you use a refrigerator to store, or does it have to be below freezing? I'm assuming this is a dumb question and the good ol' fridge would suffice.
