Ok, im going to amsterdam with my dad in the summer (or a bit before), now i just googled it and it turns out you have to be 18 to buy from coffeeshops, so th at leaves me 2 options, buy from the dealers on the streets (even though they are ment to rip you off, just try my luck i suppose), or somehow convice my dad. The only reason i think i could use to convince my dad is that its just a once in a lifetime thing (he doesnt know that i want to smoke it or anything) or something like that.

Only other thing i can think of is use a fake ID, but they require drivers license or passport :(

    Any suggestions?

aww come on your dad is probably just as psyched about lighting up as you are! Just ask him. :) But ask him once you get there in case he does get angry and can't cancel the trip as punishment ;)

    thanks for the reply,

yeah maybe, hes not anti-marijuana sort of person, he has actually told me a little bit of weed now and again wont hurt you, so maybe i should just ask him if he can buy me an 1/8 of white widow :p lol

haha YES. When your parents say something like that...that is their way of saying "I don't mind if you smoke from time to time. I'm not telling you to do it...just not saying don't do it" haha.

Have fun on your trip :)

just do what i do. you need a scanner and a printer. all you do is take your passport scan it and use photoshop or paint to change the numbers on the date by using numbers already on your pass port or from another persons. know print it out and that should work.

Me and some mates went to amdam.. n one of them was 16... but we stayed at the bulldog hotel.. no i.d. was needed... so we were then free to buy bud and alcohol from there..

also, we went to alot of clubs/bars and some coffee shops that didn't i.d.

yeh, it's really touristy... but very well kept.. and quite cheap with nice rooms... and on the website it warns you that the staff might be under the influence....

when we arrived the women at the counter had to count our money like 5 times because they were so high lol.

Why does it matter that you are in the UK? You can still get them.

Don't try and "convince" your dad. That makes it sound as if it's something that shouldn't be done in the first place. All your doing is asking if he'll buy y'all some for the experience. It IS a once in a lifetime opportunity, let him know that. I'm not a parent, but surely, a parent would LOVE to share a crazy experience with his kid, that is not illegal at the time, rather than him thinking you may now, go home and try it yourself where it IS illegal. And if he says no the first day, don't act as if you had been banking on him saying yes and how you were dying to do it. Then, as the days progress, act as if you are more and more intrigued by the experience. As you seem more and more interested, his worry of you trying it at a later, and illegal time will grow, and he may decide to allow it.

And also, if I were you, I would write on paper right now, that you smoke weed already, so if/when he catches you 5 months down the road, he won't hate himself for turning you on to this when you show him the slip written from the past, and also, maybe even get a few people to "notorize" it, and have them signing it, saying it was done before the trip.

It sounds to me like the odds are pretty good though... I mean, why are y'all going there in the first place?
Make sure to come back to tell us after your trip.
