He wants to set the country straight... if he can make it to president and survive the 8 years he will serve - this country will be in the best shape it has ever been in. What I do fear, though, is that the elites will play their trump card... they control *all* of our money, and could make the dollar worth 1/10th of a peso if they wanted. There is nothing Ron Paul himself could do, there is nothing anyone could do. We'd need a new currency, but that would cause turmoil in the meantime... we need a new currency *anyway*. We are "safe" as long as we continue the downward spiral... when we try to pull out is when we are all going to start taking shots. That said, nothing is worth continuing to fall into something we *will not* be able to get out of... hell on earth is a very good word for it. I dont have any money to donate, but I have donated to his campaign before!!!!

i was under the impression that he wanted to make abortion illegal. if thats the case and he gets elected, i'm leaving the country asap. and there isn't a guy in the world who would get any ass from me in the meantime.
Ron Paul won't win, and it was never about winning, it's about the message. But also if you're on this forum and only supporting Ron Paul because he supports an end to the drug war, I think you need to take a much closer look at his policies. Paul can be both rather liberal and conservative at the same time.
him ending the drug war is important to me, not because i can smoke pot with no reproductions, its because its a huge waste of my tax money and he also wants to end social security and he wants to take us out of Iraq, china and stupid places we don't want to be, i suggest everyone reads about Ron Paul, vote for him because he will make it in.
Look at Mike Gravel. He singlehandedly ended the draft when he was a senator. He wants to empower the people, make it so people can introduce laws and the nation votes on it not the people we elect. He is againt the war on drug and believes it is a health problem, you should be able to buy marijuana at the store, harder drugs can get from a doc. Why send someone to prison for a health problem. He says he can get out of the war in 120 days, pro abortion, pro gay marriage, pro immigration. He believes global warming is an issue of national security. He would change this country soo much in such a good way. It is sad that the media can portray him as a crazy old man when he has already done so much. He ended the draft by himself and stood up to nixon and released the pentago papers to get us out of vietnam.

i know im gonna my shit screamed at for saying this but its so lame only to vote for ron paul because he'll probably legalize pot. if u support him because u know what he stands for and u agree with it thats good but not just because hell legalize it or u think its cool. dennis kucinich said on bill mahers show that hed decriminalize weed so its not like ron paul is even the only candidate out there that would do it. i guess what im saying is vote for him because u know what he stands for and u agree with him not because of just one issue.
