How to have a really enlightening trip

I've taken acid 13 times over the past year. All at 1-2 tab doses. However, I haven't really had anything that just really changed shit. They've been fairly strong trips at times, and I'm not sure if I could really handle too much more without being dominated by bad feelings to some degree. Do I have to put up with bad shit to have a really enlightening trip? Every second trip or so, I come out with some new realisation, like just a different way of looking at one thing, but it's usually pretty unimportant, or it doesn't really shift the way I do things. What's the key to really getting the most out of acid?

 

Wow that sucks. Literally every time I do dose I feel more enlightened than I have ever felt, (besides other trips of course) I swear I have never had a bad trip it just makes me happy, and it takes happiness to a new level. It sounds to me, like you aren't getting that great of acid if it doesn't make you feel 500%.
So my advice is: look for new acid connects, drink orange juice (don't normally do it but i know it helps) and smoke weed.

 

A really enlightening trip?, I took a hit of real acid quit everything for a few months...Smoked some pot and relized iam a human living in the future..It doesnt get much more enlightening than that, i mean really, what else is there to understand?

How can "I" have Enlightenment. The "you" inside you is trying to posses what can't be possessed. Your playing with desire but you truly want no desire. You have to desire GOD first before you can let go of desire. I don't mean go to church or temple, I MEAN look for GOD and it will happen. Enlightenment is a word that describes something so in turn we "LOOK" for something, but we don't really need something we need the TRUTH, which I call GOD.

 

Look for god huh... That sounds like pretty good advice. I always smoke weed on trips. Usually after the peak, though. I think I'll try smoking during the really crazy part and really challenge myself. What does orange juice have to do with it?

 

Dose is key! Your gonna need at least 5 tabs to really get in there. Don't be afraid, throw all your fear out, let the trip take you. Be ready to experience something that will be completely beyond something you can think of, just let your mind free, and you will change the whole way your action is towards the world.

 

It will do nothing for a trip unless you believe it does. Makes a good placebo for enhancing and subduing a trip.

Otherwise it's full of vitamins and its delicious.

Well of course I never denied that. I'm just stating how much it takes for me to be enlightened.

Pointless imo unless you somehow know the measurement of the dose. 5 hits of your shit could be 200ug's total where 1 hit of his could be 150 ug, potency can vary big time from batch to batch. But 5x 150ug hits would definitely be fucking worth it anyways =p

 

^^EXACTLY thank you. Yeah like I have said before the most I have done is 2 hits, and honestly don't feel like i ever need to be more enlightened than that.

 

How are the visuals on that many hits of acidic paper?

 

Yes you do, we've have many conversations recently where you say exactly this. I also thought 2 hits of my stuff "destroyed my universe" and that there was nothing else to be had, until I took 5. Why are you building your own ceiling? Give it a shot.

On point of the thread though, if you want a so-called "enlightening trip" where you actually "understand" half of the wave like pulsations flowing through your body without geeking out and misinterpreting it, I highly recommend you read The Psychedelic Experience. Really get's a shit load out of the way for the "heroic" doser. Has literally cleared up everything I ever wondered about the mysteriously not so mysterious feelings I felt whilst tripping.
