    Hey you guys...

Just wondering how someone might go about getting to Stone Henge without a car? Any details/links that provide a bit more info would be great appreciated!

    Cheers! :D

it's a nice hike up from the train station.
lovely countryside, about a four hour walk.
you can copy an OS map from a library for the route, it also takes you along the ancient procession way which car drivers miss out on.
    :)

One year I took my cycle on the train to Salisbury and cycled from the station to the stones down some pitch black lanes on the way there, but on the way back they were very picturesque in the morning. Took about an hour and there are quite a few minor hills but nothing to bad.

if you wanted to try hitch hiking this would probably be the best time to do it. every other scruffy old vehicle is heading that way anyway.

i always pick up hitch hikers to or from solstice celebrations if i see them.

    peace and love
