I actually agree with you J0hn. There are so many that go into school thinking they'll get a degree and be better off for it, but come out and realize all they did was get themselves in a load of debt for nothing.

I knew a guy that owned a small business and 9x out of 10 he would actually hire people for his company (a small but very profitable computer networking company) that had never been to college as they had more advanced knowledge of computer networking skills than people that had just come out of a 4 or 5 year degree program from well accredited technological schools.

I've always said myself unless you are going to be a doctor or teacher there is no reason to have a degree.

 

are you kidding? Carol Vorderman got a 3rd-class degree in engineering. I suspect she is paid an enormous amount more than most Cambridge graduates.
