Hello all.. just wondering the strength of The Gel Fetanyl patches- 50 MG .. compared to like an Oxycontin 80 .. or an opana40 .. tolerance is extremely high , as doin bundles a day don't even satisfy it much anymore .. just wondering what the deal on the Fet patches are.. ? anyone?
I found a table which shows the relative strengths of various opioids in comparison to Morphine. The comparisons are made to 10mg of Morphine, taken orally. Oxycodone is listed as being 1.5-2.0 times as potent as Morphine, and Fentanyl is listed as being 50-100 times as potent as Morphine. So, going by those numbers Fentanyl would be 25-67 times as potent as Oxycodone. That's a pretty broad range. I wouldn't even mess with it. Just stick to Oxy.
WOW. 50 MG'S!!!!!!! either you didnt notice the extra 'c' in micrograms (mcg), or those patches were perscribed for an elephant. deffinately the fentanyl though... but if youve never used it before it might be better to stick to the oxy's, fentanyl is some powerful shit bro. actually better off using the oxy's anyways cuz you dont wana get hooked on fenies. they make alot of people go loopy after a while.
Looking that up got me curious, and I found some derivatives of Fentanyl that are even stronger. Sufentanil, which is 10 times as potent as Fentanyl, is the strongest opiod used on humans, and is used as a short-acting anesthetic. Another is Carfentanil, which really is used on elephants. It is 100 times as potent as Fentanyl, or 10,000 times as potent as Morphine. And that's not even the strongest. Another analog of Fentanyl is Ohmefentanyl, which is itself 6300 times as strong as Morphine, but it has derivatives that are even stronger: "The 4"-fluoro analogue (i.e. substituted on the phenethyl ring) of the 3R,4S,βS isomer of ohmefentanyl is one of the most potent opioid agonists yet discovered, possessing an analgesic potency approximately 18,000-fold greater than morphine.[4] Other analogues with potency higher than that of ohmefentanyl itself include the 2'-fluoro derivative (i.e. substituted on the aniline phenyl ring), and derivatives where the N-propionyl group was replaced by N-methoxyacetyl or 2-furamide groups, or a carboethoxy group is added to the 4-position of the piperidine ring (the latter is listed as being up to 30,000 times more potent than morphine.)[5]" There's another called Etorphine, or M99, which is also 10,000 times as potent as Morphine, but it is apparently not derived from Fentanyl.
I can wear 3 100 mcg patches and still fuction perfectly. I only do the 3 patches on the weekend for about 10 or 12 hours though. It's a very nice high without nodding. The next day is when you nod. I wear 1 patch as prescribed the rest of the time and it controls my chronic pain really well.

I have them on right know. Put them on about 1:30 am EST and feel real good and still very functional. I have been doing this every weekend for about a year and it is always enjoyable. It is currently 6 AM and we will be hitting the road soon for a drive.
Be careful man..im not sure about fentanyl when it comes to wearin the patch...but i have broke them open and abused the that way... Just a quick bit of info, my buddy was a hardcore addict who would shoot up morphine and oxy's all day..his tolerance was mega high...he had plenty of experience with the patches and decided to bang 75mcg and next thing he knows he was out...his wife somehow got him to the hospital..he ended up being ok, and i know this doesnt exactly relate to what you post Im not trying to preach to you, especially considering ive never slapped a patch on my body...Im just tellin you what came to mind when i read your post... i know its completely diffrent just slappin one on than slamming one, and when used correctly u get pain relief for 3 days...good luck
According to a medical website I trust, if you take 80 mg of Oxycodone per day, you should be on 41 micrograms per hour, thus the 50 microgram per hour patch would probably suit you fine, especially if you say that you aren't even feeling the 80 mg Oxy these days.
Put on three 100mcg's at 2AM eastern and I'm doing fine. We will be leaving soon for a drive in the country. Take in mind that I have been on these for years for chronic pain so my tolerence is pretty darn high. This is strong stuff and if you are new to them they will kick your ass!
I would say they are close in effect level but I would say the patch is the strongest. Then Opana, then oxy.
its sort of like comparing apples to oranges imo i usually ate the gel from patches and it messed me up hard more like morph than ocs it reminds me of morph nose spray
Octopus you had better have a REALLY HIGH TOLLY or 3 patches could easily make you nod off and that right there is the recipe for a smurf!
I was getting those 50MCG Fetanyl patches and 20mg oxys after a back surgery they work really good together i now that. but 80mg of oxy is prolly twice as strong as the 50mcg if used as directed. but if you cut the patch on the seem and pull it apart and then put it in your mouth one like its a dip of chew and the other under your tongue. leave it in tell they feel dry and like their falling apart then take them out. less than 5 minutes you'll feel the full effect. Or if the pain is at it's worst and you can wait the 5min or if you can't stand the taste. do the tinfoil and funnel method and smoke it. it's instant that way. I also take 500mg to 650mg of acetaminophen when i take them. increases their affect. taking 60mg of oxy and 650mg of acetaminophen is the same as taking a 80mg oxy.
