Then you'd like my Mom's dog, Fred. He is a Boston Bull...named Fred. I find it doesn't matter what the animal's name is, they are going to have many nicknames anyway.... My kitty is named Abbey, but she gets called Pooky-Bear, Poopy-girl, Fatty-Girl, Abbadab, Flabio, Ab-tacular.....
theres a dog called bob in the house i live at - i was half asleep but still chuckled when my next door neighbour came back drunk at about 4.00am with a load of men and heard him say 'alright lads - meet bob the dog' (bob the dog always stands motionless in the opposite direction looking at you from the corner of his eye then exits when he's bored) theres also a cat called 'chi' as in ti-chi - but all the cat hears is 'ch' and all cats do something if you say 'ch' - run away or fluffle you
our older cat is luminol, and our daughter's cat is dishes. my daughter named her. i think she was trying to say "princess" but couldn't say it right. dishes seems to fit anyway. but MY cat's were named sydney, frank, so on.
I always let my animals name themselves. My favorite of these was Mhyrrrrh (Sometimes we call her Mirken(as in a pubic wig) but she answers to the name Myrrrrrh - it's what she calls herself after all). We also have a Nermal. Our dogs are Millie Grace and Jerry Bear. And in Oregon we had a neighborhood cat who everyone called Hungry. He was a big fat bugger and whenever you said "what's your name?" he'd scream "I'M HUNGRY!"
Call him hummblebee! her last post was brilliant, and I've seen his pic and he looks like a little gingery bee.
Awwwwww... He Looks Beautiful... I Guess it's Personal Choice... I Named my Cat Mimi...My Dog is Balto... He Looks Like a Pumpkin...Haha...But That's Just me Thinking...
