How should I approach friends about group sex?

My girlfriend and I are thinking it would be a lot of fun to have group sex with my friend and his girlfriend. I'm pretty sure that his girlfriend would be interested in it, since our girlfriends have talked about group sex before and she seemed open minded about it at the time. I'm not so sure about my friend though. How should we approach him about it? Should we just straight up ask or slowly ease into it?

Being that his girl already seems interested, why not have your girl, ask his girl, to ask him? You could always just bring the subject up and talk about it to feel him out without actually asking him as well.

 

Be careful, first times can cause unexpected emotional responses in many people. But if you all trust each other and have a good friendship, just start talking about it when the four of you are together. Have your girl start the conversation with the unknown factor guy and see what the reaction is. If he isn't cool with it at the get go, no amount of convincing is going to make it really comfortable. And if it doesn't look like it'll work, drop it and find another couple that's into it.
