You may want to tell her that you have never done this before and that she is hot and was very clean the night before and you really want to do this. You don't want to insult her with the washcloth.

Just don't make her feel funny for asking. This can lead to repression which is very unhealthy for a couple.

Actually I work with quadrapalegics and almost all of them have big boxes of baby wipes to clean up after bowel programs, clean wounds like bedsores etc. A baby wipe is designed and formulated to clean shit off an asshole and smell nice while doing it. It is also alot more convienient to keep them in the bedroom next to the bed than to get up march your partner to the bathroom and wash their ass.
