how old do you think someone should be to stop a war?

when i was 14 along with some other people, we stopped a war in vietnam. some people have criticized me for being too young to stop that war

we have child labor laws saying how many hours you can work and that you have to attend school, we have laws saying you can't drive until you're 16, join the military and kill people until you're 18 or drink a beer unless you are 21 so if we were going to pass a law stating how old someone must be to stop a war, how old do you think someone should be?

 

Dont giva a shit how old you are as long as you have your ideals. if you have a vision for yourself and world(sometimes is bad and sometimes is good but both of them changes the world). but if u wanna change the world you will need all people in the world supporting you and thats a problem.

i agree with the responses but too, since much of the journey of soul takes place while disincarnate, i think we should be careful about passing legislation that disincarnate souls can't oppose a war as well

 

i think the age to drink then should be lowered to 20

you shouldn't have to wait 4 years to get a beer after killing somebody

it's like they're saying "yeah, you can go out and kill someone, here's your standard

this is the second time that you have claimed that some group of people stopped the war ........you , saw people going to said war for over a decade .....i was there too if your 49 then you were 17 and sweating getting drafted when the north vietnameese regular army and the viet conng.. [the folks who actualy stopped said war by defeating the japaneese french and the uas n friends] .. well the n v a stormed into saigon , and named it ho chi min city .the movement against the war domesticaly didnt persuadethe gavt of uas one bit ...it was small and inefective .....you are revising history and casting yourself hero ....fan van dong was the hero ...unkle ho was ....maby howard zinn and daniel berrigan [dissenters from mass who went to hanoi to release first pows ]are the greatesr americans for saying what the gov was doing was criminal n stupid . but they didnt move nixon to end anything ...if so it would have ended 4 years earlier .

the terrible thing is that for the people of s.e. asia , there was more suffering- war- starvation and shit after the americans were defeated ....things were worse from 75 to 85 , than they were in the 50 years of ocupation n war from 35 to 75...the misery and opression that feed war .....thats what americans should have stopped ....

and it is never too young to enstill the thought of peace and living harmoniously with your brothers and sisters.
