How often do you think of your first love?

I hope this doesn't violate any rules...can you vote on my blog? I am really curious as to how captivated we remain to those who first captured our hearts. so forgive me if this isn't allowed.

Good for you! I have dreams about mine, once every six months or so. Maybe once every nine months or so. Then I think about him because I remember my dream. We're still in touch every once in a while and have mutual friends, so I guess in that respect, I'll always think about him through no fault of my own.

 

Out of sight, out of mind. Maybe the occasional contact is fuelling these dreams.
As for me, now and again - because it was I who fucked up, and probably lost someone I would of valued for time. Oh well. Thank Christ for independence.

Yeah, you're probably right...but it's not a bad thing, like I'm still carrying a torch or something. My second young love ended up being the one who is still consistently in the picture, in a committed uncommitted kind of way.

 

There was this one guy I dated when I was young. He was wonderful. I messed it up. I sometimes wonder what might have been, and how he is doing now.

 

we share a lot of the same friends and i every time i see her page on facebook i def think about her and its tough cuz i still think she could b the one. i was never so comfortable with ne1 in my life

 

I think about my first love all the time , and I have NO doubt that I will always love her.

 

certain music and places bring back memories and sometimes i wonder what ited be like if we were still together. love hurts sometimes...

 

i was with my first love for a year. i still sometimes think about him & what it would have been like if we had stayed together. we didnt keep in contact when we split & i have no idea what he looks like, what he does or where he lives now but he was a big part of my life at the time. i'm not suprised i think about him & i think many people think about their first loves.

 

Every once in a while, when something reminds me of her.

Maybe once every few months? Sometimes more often. I guess it depends on who I am hanging out with.

 

I dream about her more than I think about her when awake. I wake up sometimes still and realize she's not here and I want to cry. I wish I could forget, it hurts terribly.
