I don't like threads with no content. You could at least start it out yourself.

    whenever i can.

realistically, if i have a lot of acid and money available, once a week.
otherwise, closer to once every couple of months.

I've fried on acid twice. both in the last 3 months. I've done mushrooms 3 times. the first time was over a year ago, and the other two were about 2 months apart, recently... so sporadically, but I would do so every other weekend if I had those things all the time.

    My bad?

I do it every so often, once every other month I suppose. It really depends on whether or not its around for me.

to put food in a pan with oil, and cook it.

if you read the whole thread, it should be pretty self explanatory what we mean by "fry"

Well....ya know....I did read the whole thing.
I don't want to sound like an elitist or something. And I'm no linguist....but I do think words matter.

Fry, cooked, wasted all really seem like the opposite of what happens when I "take" acid. Maybe I'll feel fried, cooked, or wasted the next day if I didn't get enough sleep. But when I'm under the influence of LSD it really seems more like blazing, tripping, sometimes freaking out. ;)

I'm not saying you can't have fun, or that it has to be some kind of religious/sacred experience, or some deep self reflection or something. It just seems like fry really doesn't describe it well at all...it's really the opposite.

But....I'm willing to accept that fry means something different than what it would seem to mean to me. Maybe fry is just a word to describe tripping in some circles. Kind of like tweaking is associated with meth.

So, I am really curious if you guys use the word fry to mean tripping, or if it's just another word like wasted or cooked.

It's as simple as it being another slame term of being on a psychedelic, tripping, frying, etc. Or it's possible some might apply it to a negative side effect that the drug might induce while being under the influence.

Ok...okay...sorry. (or should I say, your welcome, for giving you a good laugh.) Didn't know that and it never occurred to me to look on erowid for that info.

To answer the thread...maybe 3-4 times a year. Much more common for me to take mushrooms or smoke DMT because of the duration and the commitments of an older person.

And...just so you can laugh at me more: I always thought "faced" was short for "shit faced"...which to me means drunk!
