I mean on average do you really think yourself healthy? I just started exercising and I try to eat right but I have many faults. It feels so good to exercise.
i excercise not to be healthy i excercise cause it helps with my pain and cramping..If i had it my way, i wouldn't excercise at all... and the only excercise i like is running...
I don't have any routines for exercising. I like to walk on my treadmill but I don't do that enough. I get exercise all summer long. I LOVE to mow my lawn and work out in the yard. I sweat like crazy and drink tons of water. By the end of the summer I'll be right where I want to with my weight and then I'll go back up because of winter. I'm actually surprised my ass isn't a lot wider than it is.
I do yoga most nights, I walk (not as exercise) a lot, though I'd walk a lot more if I went to more of my classes, and I dance a few nights a week, but I don't do nearly as much exercise as I'd like to and it's not because I'm not motivated it's just that I have no one to do it with. I would like to do things like play soccer, and volleyball and tennis and football or basketball and go running, but I really don't like to do those sorts of things by myself, so I don't do them at all. I've always had a hard time finding friends who like to exercise, the only people that every exercised with me without me having to beg them would be my dad, my brothers, my mom or the kids I had to babysit. Oh I did have some Peruvian friends that liked to play soccer with me, but anyway I think it's sad that so many people dread exercising.
I know exactly what you're saying, I'd excercise way more, and play sports and such if anyone else was ever willing to.
I used to exercise in high school because I was on the flag corps and we had to .....now I don't Also, the only thing to eat on this stupid campus is fastfood... so I attempt to eat healthy but it's kind of hard sometimes
I try to walk at least a few times a week, at least a few miles or more at a time. I walk and hike every other day in the summer and swim and wade through rivers and lakes. Try walking waist deep along the shore of a lake or river. It's like having an excercise machine putting resistance on your calves and thighs. I walk the whole length of the shore like this until I'm pooped. I always lose weight in the summer since I'm more active. Last summer I lost about 25 pounds. I put it back on in the winter.
I'm an exercise junkie. I do something pretty much daily, even if it's s short ride when I commute the 8 miles to & from work on my bike.
I exercise pretty compulsivly. I run everyday, about two miles, try to hit 11:30, but I'm usually too lazy and do more like 13:00. I try to hit the gym everyday too, but I usualy only go about 4 to 5 times a week. I take boxing and kickboxing classes 5 days a week. Mondays wednesdays and thursdays I take both. I eat pretty well too... lots of meat, lots of carbs... and I try to take care of fruits and veggies too. Tonight I'm eating pizza though... eh.
i'm pretty healthy and do some exercise. i should have done cardio and weight lifting after i was off the swim team...but i didn't and i got lazy. now i started exercising again, i've started going to open swim. i have a swim team weight lift tonight, so that should get me back on track. during the summer months, i'm very active. i do a lot. though last summer i couldn't do anything due to having knee surgery, so hopefully this summer will be different. plus i have a gym membership, so i'll be usign that.
I exersize daily. Usually an hr of cardio type stuff then run at night after my kids go to bed... I enjoy it. I don't get out much so this is usually my release for energy and stress. I've been into jump-roping lately too.
