I spend very little time on it. I wash my hair every four days (it gets way too dry if I wash it every day) and I try to wear it down the first day but I don't have the patience to blow dry it so halfway through the day it falls flat and I end up throwing it up in a bun. I wear it up in a bun for the next 3 days unless I feel like taking 5 minutes to french braid it.

I stopped wearing makeup years ago, although recently I've started wearing a little eye makeup if I look particularly tired. I shave my legs like once a month in the winter. I definitely don't shower every day.

I always dress pretty cute but I don't spend a lot of time on my wardrobe. I just have my own defined style so all my clothes go together and I can throw an outfit together in about 2 seconds. And lately its gotten very hard to step out of my sweatpants in the morning.

I see girls at work that look perfect every day and I just don't know where they find the time or energy for it. Do you guys spend a lot of time on your appearance?

I get up, I shower, I get dressed, comb my hair and braid my hair. Every other day I pluck hair off my face. After 30 my face started getting hairy. Sometimes if I am going to a meeting or a special event I will put on some light brown eye shadow which is about once or twice a year at most. I wash my hair every 3 days. I seldom buy cloths so most of mine are ragged and patched up. I do make dresses every other year or so. The fabric is around $8. and I buy it for $1 a yard on sale. When I go out I have two outfits I only wear for special occasions. They are in good shape. I really do not spend much time trying to look good but I have never been very good looking and never cared to improve on how I look. I had a beautiful sister who use to drive me nuts by taking over the bathroom and primping all of the time. I swore I would never be like her.

When its a hair wash day, maybe 45 minutes. I think of my outfit while I wash, wear light makeup, blowdry my hair. When it's non hair wash, maybe 20 minutes. Probably the most time consuming thing on a regular basis is shaving, and lotioning my skin. The other would be my nails, and feet.

I pick out my clothes the night before as I go work out every morning and shower at the gym. Hair and body is washed daily because of sweaty work outs. I don't dry or style my hair, just brush and go and I don't wear make up. Shaving is a couple times a week as I don't want to be hairy at in my work out wear though all body hair is blonde/fair I can go longer between shaves. I have a best friend who I work with and she wears a lot of make up and straightens her hair daily. I don't have that kind of time but will straighten my hair and put on makeup for a special night out.

It only takes me about 30-40 minutes to get ready if I'm going out somewhere. I don't wear a lot of makeup, and it only takes a couple of minutes to do my hair. If I'm not going out anywhere, it literally takes me 10 minutes to get ready. I don't wear make up or do my hair, so the shower is the longest part of getting ready.

Now if I'm getting ready for a night out it takes well over an hour to get ready. It usually involves striaghtening my hair which takes forever as my hair is long and there is a lot of it. Such a pain but thankfully not necessaty that often.
