How much does ticket cost?

Anyone here know how much a ticket for possesion of marijuana costs? just wondering because I need to know how much to start saving(or begging for).

It depends on where you live. It sounds like you already got the ticket, if so, it should say on the ticket. If it doesn't say, you can call the court house and they'll tell you. You must live in a pretty liberal area (lucky son of a bitch!) to only get a ticket for an oz.

 

only an ounce? In the eyes of the law an ounce is alot! Im surprised you didnt get your ass hauled to jail and charged with intent to distrubute. It really just depends on the state for the punishment.

fuck you guys have stiff laws. Cultivation of less the 500 plants in BC is only a $5000 fine. Not alot considering we sell it to you guys for about 3000us - 5000us a pound.
Posession normally doesn't result in much. The Supreme Court has said a few times in the past couple years that until the gov makes the recomened changes to the law (basically a complete rewrite) they won't entertain felony marijuana charges. And you can't go to jail for a misdemener in this country. IT's a fine and community service.

ive nearly finished school and about a week after every1 goes down south (i live in western australia) and my mates getting us an ounce each for FREE!!!!

The most i got busted with was bout a quater of a 50 bag. only got a warning tho

 

Where I live, they list it as under 4 ounces and over 4 ounces. So if you have a dime or a QP, it don't matter. But you may get intent to sell with a QP as well.

 

U wanna see something crazy? Go look at these States, Mississippi, Alababama and Tennessee, thats places near me, its insane.

 

a ticket here is if you have less than an 1/8th its not a felony and its 140$ but more than an 1/8th is a felony which is like 300$ or more depending on how much you have

 

Theres nothing wrong in Mississippi- It is decriminalized there. The rest of the states are tough as shit...damn conservatives.

Here in New York its pretty lenient.

Maine and Minnesota aren't too bad either, as far as fines/jail time goes for your average user. I wasn't looking at distribution stuff.

Colorado is the place to be, as long as you have less than an ounce. Damn...

And it's pretty harsh in the territories of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Must be because of all those brown people there :$
