    Hi guys,

An acquaintance of mine has the generic percocet 5 mg pills. (I checked to make sure they were indeed what she said they were by doing a bit of internet research and found out they are. They are the round white ones with 512 on them.)

Anyways, she's asking $20 a pill for them but I am unfamiliar with how much painkillers go for, although I do know they are kind of pricy because a friend of mine loves his morphine and I've watched him pay a lot of $ for them.

If you guys could tell me how much per mg this pill typically goes for, I'd appreciate it.

Also, what dosages does generic percocet come in?

And how many of the 5 mg pills should I take the first time and what can I expect?

Thanks in advance guys. This forum is great for obtaining knowledge.

EDIT--by doing a little more research, the popular price seems to be $1/mg which would mean she should only be asking $5. I am in the St. Louis area, but outside of the city...but still, $20 seems to be majorly inflated LOL.

$20 for 5 mg is absurd. Somebody's trying to rip you off. For Percs, it's $1 per mg, junkie prices. For actual oxycontin, I've seen it as high as $1.50 per mg, but that was junkie prices. For someone without an addiction, it should be no more than $5 per pill, prefferably $3.

Take 3-4. Maybe drink a glass of grapefruit juice or 2 about 30 minutes before to potentiate.

my guy charges $5 for 5mg percs ($1 per mg) and $20 for 80mg oxy ($.25) which i dont fully understand. but this guy has never had these pills before and i guess he has no idea what is in them, or maybe he is braindead. so i just buy four of the percs, i know its not as much oxycodone but i get all of that tylenol for free!

lol, I used to sell 5mg pills of vicodin(500mg actmnphn) for about $2 a pill. More than that is just being greedy. The less additive, the closer the pill gets to a dollar/mg. At least that's how it goes in my area.

Yeah, don't buy that, and don't let your friends. And tell her her prices are whack, she might not know. And ask your friend about that morphine, because that's a shit load better than any percs, or vics, or even oxy in my opinion.

First of all, there isn't even such a thing as 3 mg Oxycontin and on the street they go for roughly $1.00 per MG. So, are you sure it was oxyCONTIN, or oxyCODONE (and I dont mean Oxycodone SR). There's a difference.

There is no such thing as 5 mg Oxycontin. There's 5 mg Perks (Oxycodone with Tylenol) and 5 mg pure Oxycodone, without tylenol. Not to be confused with Oxycontin...which is pure Oxycodone but it has a wrapper for time release.
