    Just about any blues, punk rock, or folk song. Those often use the root dominant, and subdominant.

    most of the "great" songs are just 3 chords, and maybe a small chord change for the chorus....

    Yeah I think youre right I was just thinking how the theme tune from gease - summer nights is almost practically the same as whitesnake's 'here I go again' - yet they sound totallly different.Olivier Newton John...mmm.

    I can name two from John Denver.

    "My Sweet lady" and "This Old Guitar".
    Both are mostly "G", "Dm" and "C"
