how many 'real/true' friends do you have?

i suppose we all define frined differently, it's often meant to me that i'd stop on a highway for them if they had a flat tire.. i guess it's actually much less than that.. but i figure i can count my friend on 1 hand. that's if i don't count family members..

kind of given up on the idea of a best friend.. but i probably have like 2 or 3 good friends.. dont need too many. but i enjoy have lots of random people who are friendly.

2, both female. One I've known for 37 years and one for 33 years. These are the only 2 ppl I've kept up with thru my teens an young adult. Most of the time you grow out of your friends.

 

i don't know for sure. i think my wife is for putting up with me and paying the rent. although i think there's a lot of things she doesn't seem to entirely understand.

there was i guy i still run into once in a very great while who drives a mini-bus for some sort of contract outfit, who was damd near the only real friend i had when i was back in highschool some 40 some odd years ago.

and there was connie who wanted me to marry her and i wanted to too. but i didn't want to end up living off of her. bit of major irony that.

probably my one real regret in life it didn't work out that way.

she was into horses the way my wife is into bizdroidism, except she actualy KNEW horses, and if i was married to, even if living off of her, i'd be living up in my countryside where i could go out and take a walk without getting run over by anything other then a deer trying to get away from a mountain lion.

well i don't have that many family members that i know all that well that i ever see.

my mom's still arround, in her late 80s! but that's all there is of familiy that i know anything about within several thousand miles or that i've ever seen more then twice.

never met any of my dad's family and he's long gone now too.

I have 6 really close girlfriends and three really close guy friends. I have a lot of aquantinces who I like to go out and have fun with, but would never spill my buisness to them.

 

I'd probably say four or five. I've always believed in quality over quantity when it comes to friends. I don't have a lot but the ones I do have are for life.

 

Hm, I don't know right now.
I have one friend whom I can tell basically everything about myself.
I have another friend whom I can trust with almost everything.
I had one friend whom I'd known for nearly my whole life (12 years out of 15), but she got a girlfriend and ditched me, so I don't know about her anymore.

I guess I'd say I have one or two totally real/true friends. The rest I love but don't get very deep with ever.
