how many other people hate reputation?

i think it's silly. although i do like looking at my comments... some make me smile. some make me laugh.

but really, lots of people beg for reputation and then get it...

and i, personally, dont beg for rep. (cause i really dont care), BUT, there are the same few people that give me bad rep. everytime they can because they obviously dont like me. the thing is.... the bad rep. i get never deals with the posts itself.

isnt that what rep. is supposed to be for?

now a popularity contest?

i just think we were better off without it.....

how do you say you dont ask for it when you make threads saying things like.......wow i got so much rep last night. thank you all. if you didnt care then you wouldnt make threads designated specifically to it.

 

thats the thing... i would agree with you. i love giving rep. when it's needed and it's realivant. (sp.)

but this SAME person has been giving me bad rep. when ever they can and signing it... - TRISH (my name)

that's just one example. quite a few peope on here are too immature to make a system like this work.

however, the ONE thread i made like that was because i was truly shocked by all the sweet comments.

i had like 6 truly sweet rep. comments that had meaning to them and i wanted to thank those people.

that is why.

 

they sign it with your name....lol........some people are so cowardly. i've given bad rep one time and i even signed it then. lol...i cant believe that.

 

reps nice... i like the nice comments... i've gotten some mean ones and it never has anything to do with the thread they comment from its just to be plain mean... i think people who abuse it suck.

I think its a good thing. I figure if I've got bad rep then I've been pissing off the right people.

i just feel that if i have something against a certain person, i will either A- ignore them... either by the ignore funct. or in my head...

or B) talk to them about it.

not give them bad rep. saying hurtful things all the time and signing their name to it....

eh, you havent been around here too much lately. i stopped caring about rep.- only comments i ever made were thanks to the people that are awesome and ques. to who the people are that say hurtful things and dont sign their name.

Irony this one is to me for the simple reason that I have stopped posting much and yet still do some reading and only post on those threads that I feel I can maybe say something worthwhile on.....

Well I did just that and guess what I got nailed for rep points .....

Frankly it is a childs play ground system as a bunch of silly kids that are groupies can do it and amazingly it works.....go figure. A couple of ring leaders and a bunch of sheep.
