How many locks do you have??

i've got somethimg like 36 maybe more maybe less Is that a good or bad number to be startin with ?

 

First of all, there's already a thread or even threadS with the exact subject somewhere, however a new one wont kill us since we have quite a few new people lurking around here lately.

Secondly, it doesnt matter if you have 4 big congodreads or 200 thin ones...it comes down to how you like them to be or how nature decides they should be

I have around 40 ..some baby dreadlings forming and some of them already joined some old ones...so i'm just gonna stick to 'around 40'.

 

my friend was a tortoise and he had 8 dreads.

 

i have 150+ mature ones 50-60 babies so im gonna go with 200+
startin to let a bunch congo though tryin to get em down to 80 or so

 

I started with 48, seperated a few and then some came back together so I would say around 50.

 

I have about 30-something. I thought I was doing something wrong because everyone else seems to have many more, but mine aren't too thin or too thick. So I'm perfectly okay with starting off in the 30s. Very manageable.

 

Sorry if i stepped on your toes man maybe I should of looked a little harder befor startin the thread but remember hair grows so I dont think i'll be the last person to make that mistake.200+ dreads is a long way away for me but a man can dream,I'm happy out with 30 or 40 for now.And soaringeagle you where spot on ,washin out out the wax was the best thing I've done since I started.Honestly from the bottom of my heart "Thanks"

Just counted and I have 38 which I am perfectly happy with.

I has 14. I was worried about this and posted a few posts bemoaning the fact but i couldn't really give a toss now.

 

Should have around 100 babies going on, natural so no idea at all how I will end up with if I always separate and anyway I'll let them congo
