How many “Celtic Mythology” Deities were there? And which one is most feared?

Trying to read and educate more on “Ancient/Prehistoric Ireland”? My last names Irish so was learning more about how they operated and what “Gods/Goddesses” they believed in or worshipped? First question would be; How many Total Gods did they worship in Celtic Mythology? Second: Who was there “God of Death”? Or perhaps “most feared” God/Goddess” in their belief system? Thanks for trying to educate or help me at least. Just wanted to learn more about My possible Irish ancestors “Mythological/Pagan” beliefs they had?

 

Pretty sure there were somewhere over 400 or more in Celtic Mythology. But the one most feared, and keeps coming up today is The Morrigan. She's usually described as a harbinger of death and misfortune, and is normally pictured wearing the blood stained clothes of people who are going to die, or have recently died.

Arawn is the Celtic god of Death and Lord of the Afterlife. He kind of has that classic grim reaper look. But most Gods of death in mythologies tend to be tall, lanky, looming figures with tattered robes and weird visages.

 

I have read about “The Morrigan”: Known as “The Phantom Queen!! I could see someone in those times believing things like that: Upon seeing her: That means a death omen is coming to you?

 

For me personally? Yeah, my death flag popped up about 25 years ago. But that's why I chose Constantine as my Avatar. I plan to make deals to keep going as long as possible
