How long would you wait for sex?

What would you do if you met the perfect person, but they were waiting until marriage to have sex? I would wait myself. My sister and I got into a big debate about this because she thinks that everything could be perfect, then the sex horrible. I don't see how that is possible. In a situation of finding your "soul mate", everything you do together would be perfect.

How would you know the sex is horrible if you never had sex with anyone else? I think everyone should wait until they are married, but that's just my opinion. There is more to life than just sex.

But, I'd much prefer to have sex, *before* we get married... What if he isn't teachable???

Well neither my sister or me are virgins. I know what good sex is like, and I assume she does as well. What she was arguing is that if I met a girl who was perfect for me, but wanted to wait until marriage herself. It would suck, but I would do it. Shit, I would almost prefer a situation like that. At least I would know she wouldn't cheat on me...which seems to be the norm in my life.

 

Marriage is too long to wait. I mean, that could be like 25 years!!!

I think the whole concept of waiting until mariage is a really sweet one, and I also suppose I agree with the statement that if this person is your "soulmate" then everything would be perfect, but that is being kind of a little bit a lot idealistic. Granted there are OTHER things than sex, but I think if you want to marry a person, you have to get to know them thouroughly, because you ARE spending the rest of your life together (again, ideally). Getting to know a person isn't just emotional and personality-wise. As much as we hate to admit it we are sexual beings and the physical is important too.
All that to say that I don't think I would wait, unless I was REALLY head over heels and the guy was REALLY good orally ^_- *winks*

Waiting till marriage is nice, I like that idea, I also think it is ok if you have sex with someone you REALLY love I mean accualy love not just THINK you love....I had sex :& (kinda wish I waited for the right guy though)
