How long have you been toking?

Well how long? What year did you first smoke? Do you remember it well? Age old question; did you get stoned your first time? Have you taken any extended breaks since you began?

To start off, I have been smoking since 2007, so 7 years now. At first I did not smoke too frequently at all, then started toking heavy. I do recall first time well and I did get stoned, however not as much as I would if I smoked tht now, as I didn't know what I was doing and had never inhaled any smoke before tht time.

Only smoked once this whole year, which I know is only 7 days deep, but still, there are likely people on HF that have smoked an ounce or more since start of the year.

1999, 15 years, yea I got stoned the first time, I been smoking nearly every day for 10 years.

I started to smoke on a regular/daily basis around 2010/2011... sometime in grade 10... About 3.5 years ago

1999 was my first toke. it was the summer before 9th grade (like in half baked). i was 14. the first two times were pot leaves or something, so i don't count them. but the first time i smoked bud, my friend had stolen some from his dad. he rolled a floppy doobie, and we went on his paper route at like 6 AM, during winter. i smoked the whole joint in a parking lot downtown - he was paranoid to go home stoned.

i remember walking in a very funny way, which i can't describe, but could impersonate well. looking side to side, and moving my arms meticulously..
anyways, yeah...i got high


my first break was when i got arrested for smoking weed at age 17. i still have the ticket. we were never gonna smoke we again!
that lasted a month or maybe 2

took another break when i got kicked outta college for a weed related transgression (i was 19). that one lasted a bit longer - maybe 2 or 3 months before i was smoking again.

and since then i have taken very sporadic breaks from smoking. a week or two to see if i can go without. that gets old. 14 days when i went to alaska - didn't miss it then.

i didn't start smoking a lot til i was 17 - junior year in high school. but ever since then, i have been smoking almost daily. i think i skipped between 4 and 6 days in 2013. not many more in 2012.

41 years...Got stoned my first time on a joint of brown mexican weed. My cousin and I laughed our asses off walking down to the bowling ally to buy some Doritos.
They only had 3 flavors back then... original, taco and the new nacho cheese! lol

 

41 yrs and the first time I got stoned never once did anything touch my lips,this real hippy fucker gave me and me bike a lift,greedy fucking stoner didn't even offer me any ,I still cant work out how he could see out the windscreen while swaying from side to side on the old road seeing how the whole fucking car was packed to the seams with smoke LOL.I was 14 back then,last smoke was about just now and I'm going out for another about just now.

2007... six and half years ago, and no, I did not get stoned. It burned the shit outta my throat, lots of coughing after they taught me the gravity bong
I fell asleep the next two times, which were some months later.

And then the next year, during a two joint circle, it hit me. We were late walking to class and my arms had never felt so heavy - and nothing has ever made me laugh harder. My arms pulled me to the ground and I laughed my ass off. If only that feeling happened again! No one ever told me what to expect, so by the time I was in class I started thinking it would never go away! It was crazy. I'm really glad my friend brought me ramen for lunch that day.

I've been smoking weed regularly since about 1997. I do not remember the actual first time I smoked it, but I remember one of the first times. I did got stoned then, it was outside in some bushes in the middle of town and really exciting

 

in some bushes lol. i think at some point in time, we have all been there, smoking behind some bushes or trees in a town/urban setting. :sifone:

I recall the second or maybe third time i smoked, was in december about a foot of snow on the ground I toked at a cemetery which was up on a hill overlooking the main street of the town i lived in. I got so high I was having mild visuals and i remember laughing uncontrollably skipping and sliding along the paths at the graveyard with three other friends. We ate one of those massive gallon jars of chocolate covered pretzels and then ordered about 6 pizzas from Dominos and destroyed all those as well. :sifone: great times.

 

I swiped my first joint from my dad when I was 9. Started smoking with friends when I was 13. Started daily when I was 16. I quit for about a year when I was 19 just to see if I could do it, and how it would affect me. There was another time that I quit for 6 months, and several weekly/monthly fasts for tolerance.

 

Sept. 1974 - first time smoking weed, Mexican commercial, no real discernible effect
Oct. 1974 - second time, Gold Colombian, So that's what all the hype is about.

At first weed was very psychedelic for me and I remember seeing patterns in the sky and stuff when I would get high the first year or so, now not nearly so much.

I've had breaks here and there ranging from a few weeks to a few years.
Now I have my MMJ recommendation and I'm all legit and shit, even have it delivered to my door. :2thumbsup:
