How long does your armpit hair grow?

If you don't shave it. My friend says his grows so long it sticks to his chest after he showers so he trims it. What about you guys?

 

Why do we need hair under our armpits in the first place?

 

To keep us warm I guess....just be grateful it evolved out of us so much unlike our primate cousins.

 

No I think it is to soak up the sweat and stop it dribbling down your side.

Well there's no way to tell and i've seen some pretty long armpit hair on guys before.

 

Look, I got long armpit hair OK, it helps to retain moisture when I am all hot and sweaty. So I figured that was probably what it was purposely designed for.

 

I wouldn't of thought it's to soak up sweat, afterall sweat is there to cool down the skin.

 

I want to shave my armpits but I don't want to look like a homosexual...
