My parents are going away for 2 weeks in the summer, and I wanted to try extracting DMT... I read an extraction guide on erowid though and it seems it takes like 20+ days... is there any other extraction that would be quicker? (14 days or less)? also if i end up doing this, is there anything i should know about DMT (besides what i've read on erowid) before i do it?
Mehh.. If you do the what I call "Meth lab extraction" method, it can take a day or two. When I made mine, which, im still waiting for someone to tell me I made it right, It took a little under 24 hours. You should know, that If you smoke any more after 60 seconds from when you started, it WILL NOT effect the high. At least, that's what ive heard.
Done it a few times and if you do right and are only looking to make enough for you and a friend to do it maybe a 2 - 3 times you can do it in 12 - 18 hours. Mimosa Hostilis, Water, Lye, V & M Naphtha, 2 Big Pickling jars, and a pipette. Oh and a freezer.
^^ agreed. the key to a quick extraction is to have your bark very finely powdered. also, the less time you wait to pull the solvent out of basic solution, the cleaner the dmt will be too, but you need more pulls than 2 or 3 so it's a catch 22. If you freeze precipitate it takes about 12-18 hours for the majority to fall out. Then you filter the dmt (coffee filter works fine) and wait for the solvent to evaporate to get the rest of the DMT in there , this step takes about 4 hours with a fan. This way you have 2 types of DMT as well, the pure white and the mixed spectrum(a deeper trip IMO) If doing a complete extraction to where you pull no more DMT and have evaporated all the solvent you could have everything out of your house in 2 or 3 days. If doing a quick extraction you could have everything out in 18-24if evaporating. if they are gone for 2 weeks get every last mg you can.
