How long does 2c-e stay fresh when stored in water?

I know it stays fresh for a while in water, but how long would I be able to keep it that way? I am planning on ordering 500mg and will probably eat 100mg each week, give or take, and I was wondering if it would lose much, if any, potency if I keep it in refrigerated water. I know this is a stupid question, but I am pretty new to the RC scene and I just want to make sure it won't lose potency, as I don't want to waste any of it. Thanks.

I'm also curious if 2ce is more stable in solution. Specifically in Distilled Water or Ethanol. And which one would be more stable.

2ce (and other phens) are pretty stable, both on there own and in solution. Ethanol would inhibit bacterial growth and would thus be preferred. However, DH2O should be fine, it's tryptamines which present storage problems.

Could you elaborate as to what the expected life times might be?

I bet there would be hardly any noticable loss in potency of placed in distilled water up to 2 years. They are very solid compounds (phenethylamines). Just make sure you use distilled water and clean out whatever you're putting it in, such as running it through a dishwasher or use antibacterial soap and bleach, then rinse it with the distilled water.

Oh yes, and ethanol is something that would help with bacterium, like some vodka.

In an ethanol solution I've seen most of the common 2c's stored for several years, no problems. However for long term storage, and we should all be making preperations as most of this stuff is destined for schedule 1, it would be best to leave it powder, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Cool, dry, dark place is a general rule for storage
