Does anyone know how much time is needed for most of DMT to be absorbed when smoked? Is it ok to inhale pretty big hit and hold it for 10 - 15 secs and than take other big hit and hold it as much as I can. Cuz if I take big hit and hold it as much as I can I'm tripping very hard by the time I exhale smoke and I'm almost not able to take another one or think I don't need it cuz it's already so strong but than latter I'm sorry for not smoking more. Even I have very strong experience I know I still can go much, much deeper.
Ideally, you want a smoking device that allows you to take it all in one big, smooth hit, and hold it for at least 7-10 seconds, IE the DMT machine. If you're too lazy to make one, see my instructions in the thread "Smoking dmt for dummies" It's like right below this thread. I pretty much say to do what you asked, so yes that is the proper way to smoke DMT with not so ideal pipe (ie glass MJ bowl) Oil pipes AKA meth pipes work wonders for DMT.
ya I usually hold in in for about 10-15 seconds. I usually can't clear it all on one hit, usually takes about 3 but on my last hit I hold it in as long as I can without coughing.
Thnx... That's the way I smoke it.. except I add a pinch of Cannabis... I don't think I can smoke 50 - 60mg in one toke...I smoke like 30mg in one toke... But if 7 secs is ok that's great...I'll hold it like 15 secs and take another 20 - 30mg and I know that will be just enough.. Unfortunately I can't get meth pipe here as no one smokes meth... too bad XD...
I love the effect, but I hate smoking DMT...(I do love smoking weed though.) It's always such a challenge deciding how long to hold it in...long enough to get everything good, but not so long you can't keep smoking the next hits to finish the dose. There were a few times I think I got almost a full 50 in one hit, but usually it takes 3 and there's still a little left in there hiding.
Hello, Regardless of the form of the DMT i always try to hold at least 10-20 seconds. It is my personal goal to have my vaped DMT hits exhale as clear as possible. i am achieving this about 40% of the time. It's okay to take a hit of straight air between vapor hits. You have about 90-120 seconds to take the dose before instant tolerance sets in. But, maintain your focus - yeah if you do it right you'll be tripping balls by the time you begin the second hit - try to focus on the pipe and your technique. Seriously though, i would humbly recommend making some enhanced leaf, also known as changa. Just get a glass and dissolve like 1 gram of freebase spice in about 40 mL of acetone - swirl around. Then drop in about 1 gram of the herbs of your choice (e.g. mullein, b. caapi, passionflower, peppermint, blue lotus, etc.). Swirl and evap. Once down to a slurry spill/scrape the contents of the glass onto a pyrex dish and let it finish evaporating. It should not smell like solvent and the weight of the enhanced leaf should be equal to or less than the weight of the freebase spice and original herbs you used. Now you can get that huge dose (50 mg) in one single hit. Single hit, comfortable, breakthroughs that taste pleasant. What spice afficianado could ask for anything more? Peace & Love, Spicey Cat
^^^how come that makes it more possible to get the 50mg in one hit? i dont really see an explanation to that. And do you still gotta be careful about not burning the DMT when you smoke that?
matt2993, One really righteous changa hit, held, can deliver a HUGE dose. One gram of freebase DMT to one gram of herbs. Load a bowl and take a hit. Hold. Breakthrough. Honestly, i personally use the vaporgenie pipe to smoke changa, thus i actually vaporize it. But, i have another answer: a changa joint. Here's how: Lay down a thin layer of regular herb(s) on a rolling paper and in the center insert 100-150 mg of changa. Roll the joint. As you smoke the joint, the heat from the cherry at the tip will be pulled by your hits towards the DMT that is lower in the joint. The DMT vaporizes. Meanwhile, the herbs at the tip of the joint, where the DMT is already gone, just burn. Hope this helps. Peace & Love, Spicey Cat
