How high a heel can you wear girls

I generally wear 3" spike heels for work, but can go up to a 4 1/2 " for evenings. I have a long foot so that allows me to wear a taller heel (size 11b).

 

I can wear these just fine and they are nearly 5". They are Christian Laboutin "So Kate" and they are really my go to shoe for evening wear. But they are expensive.

 

I need to see you in them

 

Those heels ae certainly not as high as some of the TV girls I have seen in London clubs.

 

Yeh, but aren't they male ankles? And might they also have a platform sole? My OH had 8inch heels but the sole was platformed too so, really, they were in reality 5.5inchers.

 

I've known several people who wear them, that brand, not those specific shoes. Were they to have done so, I would remember! They said they wear them but they get them off as soon as they can. I would too lol
However their reasoning is different. They are so-o-o uncomfortable. They have developed issues, either, with their feet or their ankles or both and the pain is said to be too much in a very short time.

I know it's great to get dressed up but...pain?!
