guys usually like to brag about this, but reality is sometimes a little different than that. so, leaving the bragging aside, and talking from real experience you've had in life so far, where would you assess your own abilities to be? if you're really good and also happen to have some martial arts training don't forget to mention that.

as for myself, i haven't gotten into fights too much. most of it was when i was a kid, and i don't count that. but the few times i have, have left me feeling pretty damn insecure on that front. i'm not a total wuss, i can decently hold my ground against a guy my own size in one vs one. but if it's someone of bigger stature than me i would probably get my ass handed to me.

so how 'bout you? how experienced are you in fighting, do you have any official training, and how have you become good in it (if you are any good, that is)?

I got in my first fight in 5th grade lol. I fought some kid because my friend had fought his friend so we foguht as well lol idk why. I handled him pretty easily.
I got in my next fight during freshman football in high school. Some kids were throwing a ball at another kids hed and he thought it was me and they did it again and he rushed at me an we started fighting. He had like 80 pounds on me but i think i won. Idk, it didnt last long cuz all the other kids broke it up.
Than in sophomore football i fought some kid like 3 or 4 tmes before practice. I dont even know why we hated each other. He was in wrestling so he took me ot the ground a lot but it was usually a pretty even fight. Those are my fight stories :D lol

I never get to get in fights.
in high school every girl who wanted to kick my ass had an excuse not to.
so later in life my need to fight intensified
so I started making my guy friends and boyfriend scrap with me just for fun when we were drunk. they would never take it seriously.
I need to get in a fight bad. It would help me a lot. I need to be in a fight club or something. I think it would be good for my mental health.

i tend to get into situations bordering on a fight now and then. not much, but every once in a while it does happen. i usually assess the situation though, and if i don't think i can win i try to walk away. fighting can be healthy sometimes, it invigorates you physically and mentally. but i don't want to get my jaw dislocated for some silly reason either.

I guess im good at avoiding them too...last physical fight was in grade 8..i remember doing a hockey style sweater over-the-head thing on him when he came at me then a nice uppercut and it was over that quick

Fighting is for apes. Words, and if neccessary - running, is for winners.

I am lousy at it, so I learned diplomacy instead. No fights in over forty years.

My fighting experience totals being beaten to a pulp by groups of idiots twice...

So i dunno.. I can't imagine myself being very usefful in a fight.. I really don't see the point in it at all, save self defence.

that sucks. were they idiots you knew or complete strangers?

i can't imagine ever being that pissed off at someone as to put them in a hospital or something. unless they try to do that to me and i happen to gain the upper hand. then i probably wouldn't stop till they were completely incapacitated.
