Net Speed: 82 WPM (words/minute) Accuracy: 98% Gross Speed: 83 WPM (words/minute) www.typingtest.com That one was the Zebra test. I've done two others and tend to range from low to high 80's with 96% accuracy or higher. No warm ups.... Whatcha got?
ahhh, my shift key is broken so i really cannot expect an accurate result. 82 is fast as shit. id say im like in the 60's.
Net Speed: 92 WPM (words/minute) Accuracy: 100% Gross Speed: 92 WPM (words/minute) in high school i took a typing class, we had to have less then 3 mistakes to hand in our daily paper, i used to have 103 wpm!
on the zebra test: Net Speed: 55 WPM (words/minute) Accuracy: 89% Gross Speed: 61 WPM(words/minute) pretty crappy. i hate typing on laptops.
My laptop is in my lap Does it make a difference? Net Speed: 60 WPM (words/minute) Accuracy: 100% Gross Speed: 60 WPM (words/minute) 100% because I know when I make a mistake and I go back and correct it
I know what you mean. I actually had to retake the test 8 times constantly slowing down my speed so it would even register. In all seriousness, I was rather dissapointed. I used to type close to 120 words per minute in highschool, though I probably do less typing these days, despite my time online. Don't know why I would need to type that fast again, but it seems like I'd like to get my speed back up there. And FTW, I LOVE typing on laptops. The keys just feel so much better beneath my fingers with the way they spring up and shit.
That is pretty f'n impressive. The highest Gross Speed I got was 91, but due to a couple of errors the Net Speed came out at 88.
It is odd, I ranged anywhere from 45-60 WPM, depending on the test I took. I took each one once. Quite the gap though. But if I was just typing random shit, like this, I could probably type faster than looking and typing and looking and typing like on those tests. Like now I am probably typing closer to 60-70 WPM. Because I don't need to pause or anything.
