How do you think the US would be different if marijuana had never become illegal?

    a lot of people disregard marijuana illegality's place in forming the world we live in now. It was a big thing back in the 60's, and without weed being taboo, the hippy movement would have had a much different direction, or perhaps been nonexistant, and wihtout the hippy movement that we know, the world would be a completely differnet place.

    i allways wonder, why do they keep it illegal?

    give mo an explanation to that.

    If it was sold commercially, there wold be chemicals put in it, for various reasons, pesticides used for growing it, so it'd be jsut as bad as pot, and there'd be anti-pot commericials like there are anti-ciggs. And, they'd prolly grow it difference then growers do these days, so potency and flavour, would prolly be difference... for better or for worse, i don't know
