Anti-christ? Savior of the american right? Savior of the american people? terrorist? barely remembered? just curious
Criminal. Gangsta. Thug. Mob Boss. Liar. Mass Murderer. Coke head. Dry Drunk. Hypocrite. Usurper. Cheney's Bitch. Blue-blooded Northeastern Yalite Ex-Cheerleader Illiterate Choking on a Pretzel.
In a way it is kind of a shame. Had Bush been successful in delivering democracy into the middle east, he would have gone down as one of the greatest presidents in the history of the States. But he failed.
He is definitely going to be remembered as one of the worst presidents in recent history, someone who failed to achieve virtually anything he wanted to get done. Even most conservatives will regret his presidency.
- a divider NOT a uniter - a usurper of the Constitiution - war monger - a destroyer of a nation and people (Iraq) - the most secretive, power hungry president in history and those are his 'good' sides LOL
privledged, incompetant, liar, psychologically warped(tortured small animals when he was young)anti-empathetic,conscienceless loser with connections. He and his ilk have ruined everything they've touched in this and other countries,by plan,of course. The ship of state is headed for the rocks.
I'd like to think that George Bush is simply dumb, but it just isn't true. If anything, George Bush is a brilliant man, which is how he accomplished what he set out to accomplish, but his goals were motivated by selfishness, greed, and malice. - Liar - Secretive - Divider - Conniving - Evil - May be connected to underground groups - maybe the Illuminati or something like it. - Destroyer of personal liberties.
Hopefully as bad as he is he'll be remembered as being the catalyst for CHANGE. The straw that broke the camels back if you will.
The U.S. media stopped talking about Bush after the Nov 2006 elections. No other president became a belch in the breeze with more than two years left in the administration. .
Hopefully he will be remembered as: Cheney's trained chimp. In this way Cheney's role in this whole mess will never be forgotten or forgiven. It should be a lesson learned and prevented from happening in the future.
Everyone else has said it all, so I'll just add; I hope the door hits his ass REALLY hard, on the way out.
He will be remembered for his miscalculations with the surplus we had from the 90s, he will be remembered for leading us into an unpopular war, he will be remembered for restoring complete partisanship within our government, and don't forget the iconic images ("Misson Accomplished" on the aircraft carrier, My Pet Goat, etc.). But what I think he will be most remembered for is his reaction to the world after 9/11 of making the U.S. military the police of the world, while America was falling into disrepair and poverty. Oh, and for his non-reaction to Hurricane Katrina. But it really depends on who's in power 20 years from now when History books start to look back on this era. Remember, history is written by those who win. If the same things going on now are still rampant in 2027, odds are he will be looked at fondly in history books. Nixon is the exception to this rule, because both sides didn't like him in the end.
Brief passing statement by Bush while he was on his usual talk circuit at military bases as Katrina was hitting. http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s274/34richard/politics/?action=view¤t=bushdontworry100.flv .
For a president that is supposed to be all about security and protection of the American citizen his response to Katrina at the time and currently should demonstrate is inability to look after anyone but himself and his crony friends. The fact that many displaced citizens are still living in substandard, contaminated trailers that the department of homeland security won't let their own staff enter is inexcusable. Amazing though that he got the oil industry up to speed right away. But where was he in insisting that the insurance industry belly up to the bar and pay off, on what citizens paid for upfront and for years to protect their homes and livelyhoods?
