how do you say 'dollar' in dutch

    how do you say 'dollar' in dutch? i know there is a word 'euro' but that is a
    different currency

    dans le dutch comment est-ce que tu dis 'dollar'? il y a une mot je sais 'euro' mais cette quel que chose different

    a buck? do you mean to ask if we have another word for our currency? like slang?
    sometimes we say "piek" as in "peak" but that's still lingering from the guilder era.

    also some people say "Eurie" and if so you're a total dork, i know some people how know some people, who know some people who will have them all shot;)
    i don't know what that's all about. but hey

    2,5 was een rijksdaalder, dacht ik. Of misschien ook wel allebei.

    You pronounce it exactly as you say in english.. so, that's nothing different..

    Guess what?

    The American word Dollar is derived from the Dutch word Daalder
    Which was an old coin here, which turned into the rijksdaalder (federal daalder) when the 11 provinces united.
