Maybe I'm just paranoid, but as I meet more and more stoners in my area, i start to wonder... who can be trusted? How do you spot an undercover? Any signs?
It's very hard to tell. I'd watch out if you don't openly see them smoking, or if their overly sketchy.
on lots,at festivals and gatherings, the rule is, clean shoes.. never trust anyone with clean shoes.. (of course all the folks i know, thats there rule 24/7. )
They'll smoke with you,be your friend and then one day---you're BUSTED!!Knew people this happened to.Maybe do a little detective work on those with whom you toke.Get creative and watch out.The vegetable police are so proud of themselves when they can screw someones life up.
For what it's worth, when I was working in downtown Portland (Maine) at an accounting firm, the lower level (beneath ground level) of that building was the FBI. Plainly stated on the lobby doors. I'd go outside for cigarette breaks, and quite a few times I saw this youngish man, about 24 or so on a bike. It was summer and he had on shorts, tank top, very casual looking. He'd just ride around town but always ended up back at the building I worked at, on the cell phone (or some such other communication device), where he'd stop on his bike and chat on his phone. After watching him a few times, it became apparent to me that he was undercover. It was like he'd get instructions, or "report back" then take off again. What I know from personal experience with cults, be suspicious of anyone who seems to ask you a lot of questions, and tries to chum up to you "too much".
Actually, its not the cops you have to worry about so much as those who have been busted by them. They're often recruited as snitches to save their own skin. Most cops are too busy to bust you for a joint, but if you're involved in dealing, you'll attract alot more attention to yourself. x
Their teeth are pointed. For some reason a lot of undercovers like to file all their teeth into points.
PHP: what about their teeth? Their teeth are pointed. For some reason a lot of undercovers like to file all their teeth into points.
Cops, including undercovers, generally have that serious, stuck-up, mean, constipated look on their faces, like they can't wait to get home and beat up their wives.:leaving:
The only way to know for sure and certain is to get the suspected UC very high on acid, then you simply look into them and you will know if there is deception in their heart.
an undercover what? if the're any good you don't. if the're not the're not. who can be trusted? the best confidence is avoiding situations that depend upon having to trust anyone. any other answer anyone gives you will only apply to one narrow context they are familiar with, and then probably not entirely and with no guarantee. certain kinds of SEMI-covert government opperatives wear their department's kind of civilian damd near uniform. like 'secret service' agents protected elected officials and candidates. you can usually spot them when the're not trying to hide, and the're usually not trying to hide, just not draw too much attention to themselves to be able to do their job. but anyone who thinks that applies to all covert opperatives has another think comming. obviously government liscence plates are a dead give away, but really don't coun't on anything. best policy is avoid situations where this is really any concern. if you can. there are no guarantees of anything in real life, only improving the odds or making them worse. =^^= .../\...
^Hahaha It is hard to tell in a lot of cases. On dead tour and festivals undercover used to look like hippies with dreads that would smoke pot with people, I saw a bum pushing a grocery cart full of cans and bottles all the sudden pull out hand cuffs and tackle someone with 4 or 5 other undercovers that looked like 4 or 5 different concert goers. Crazy stuff. On time at the beach I pulled up next to a little pick up truck in a car and started smoking a bowl and the guy in the truck pulls out a radio and starts talking about some guy they were following,,, instant paranoia!!! In a lot of cases it is impossible to tell. Oh reminds me of another interesting story a few years ago I went to a protest, I showed my support and was hanging out by a bus stop. There was a blind guy there wearing dark glasses and had a walking stick he acted like he was waiting for a bus. After a bit all the buses came by and he didn’t get on any and just kept looking towards the protest. After watching him a bit I realized he wasn’t blind he was just standing around spying on the protest. What a concept a undercover surveillance posing as a blind man..
that last story about the blind dude is scary... man, you can't trust anyone, now can you? I'm so scared that anyone who seems interested in smoking with me is an undercover... i've accused a couple friends even! Maybe I'm just paranoid?
In Colorado there is a law that states that if you ask a officer of the law whether or not he or she is a police officer and they reply No and they end up actually being a police officer, they have broken the law, they must tell you if asked, but they have to actually say the word "NO" . If they say something along the lines of "me a cop ,yeah right" that is not a Yes or No reply and they have broken no law. Oh yeah witnesses have witnesses to the police officer's No reply.
