How Do You Pick Up/Knock The Opposite Sex

just interested in finding out how you guys pick up the opposite sex. your favorite pick up lines, techniques, rituals, whether or not you have a wing man/woman. indulge me, oh yeah, and tell me if it works out for you or not. This is for fun, so please no shit talking. no, thats lame, thats cheesy or that never works. let's keep it cool. here are some things I do, cheesy or not, I have yet to be slapped.

First off, a sip of liquid courage never hurts. if I hit a club I make sure the girl I talk to has at least 1 drink in her unless she approaches me. I always have a wing man, I have different wing men for different situations i.e. The Pretty Boy, The Sad Guy, The Savage, The Dancer etc. I have also learned to read women pretty good(for the most part) so I know not to go up to the wrong girl with the wrong game plan and always avoid the ones with a dude or with to close a click of friends. Batting average: not to shabby.

 

I do not pick up girls, I dislike that kind of behaviour. I usually meet women by coincidence, or they come swarming at me after they hear my accent.

 

I didn't mean doing the whole greasy sleezy thing. I just meant in general, if your looking for a 1 night stand or a serious relationship how would you go about doing it. dudes with accents always get major love!

 

we usually just do something goofy

some of the ones we talked while reminicing before i came home were:
-sending over a round of water to the girls and having the bartender or waiter point to us and tell the girls that the water is on us
-having a drink with a straw and then trying to get the straw with your tongue while not looking at the drink, so the straw keeps moving around.

basically we just try to get the girls to laugh as an ice breaker

 

I pick up women the same way I pick anything else up- by lifting. After I've picked them up I put them back down. Sometimes when hugging a woman I suddenly realize that I've actually picked them up a bit. I will eventually put them back down as well.

The key to picking up women is to never go out with the intent of picking up women (a la no trim hunts) just let it happen.

whether it's at the supermarket, library, airport, school, work, movie theatre, book store, music store, or at a sporting event... just make yourself available.

Make yourself appear to be interested in her through body language and eye contact and believe me they'll come to you. in regard to a pick up line, just use the circumstances to your advantage..

bread, thats a good idea. trying to flip a straw with your tongue and catch it with your lips is another one, haha

i can do the water, but i would never be able to do the one with the straw....i'd laugh to much. my boy adam can do it, can do anything with a straight face.

 

yea, having quick witty comments on spot is key for striking up a conversation

 

my boy has this thing he does that does pretty well. he does the dumb pick up line thing and if the girl doesn't feel it and walks away he yells out, "WOOOOOOOOOW... I just got dissed." usually getting a laugh from near by girls, thus sparking up another conversation and making him feel better. genius. doesn't always work though but, always gets a laugh from me.

okay, senario. say you see the finest girl/dude you've ever seen and lets just assume they have an attitude to your liking. they do not notice you. how would you go about and get their attention and go for the kill?

 

if they dont notice me then i say fuck it

the last dude i was with...i met him at a party i was standing in a group of people and i turned around for some reason and he was standing there all quiet-like so i say hey dude i like your hair and i turn around and that was that. then he taps me on the shoulder and asks what my name is and we started talking and that was that he ended up being my man which was a mistake but thats not the point. i always end up meeting dudes that way....just randomly

If I am in a casual setting and intoxicated I have been known to throw tissue, straw wrappers or whisper to my friends purposefully making it obvious I am talking about them in a good way. If I am not drunk I never make the first move and suprisingly I get asked for my number more than when I throw paper.

 

I don't believe in forcing or imposing myself on anyone.

I just like to go with the flow.

If a girl doesn't notice me in a room filled with party goers, then i'm not going to go the extra mile to make her acquaintance.
