I want to make my own pipe but I donno how? Anyone got any tips or advice. Can you make it out of polymer clay? holla.
noooooo don't make it out of polymer clay. there's some real bad stuff in it that you don't want in your lungs. maybe try whiddling one out of wood if you know how, then drill the stem. just make sure you're using untreated wood. http://www.erowid.org/psychoactives/faqs/faq_bong_pipe.shtml there's a pretty good guide to making a few styles of bongs and pipes.

pop cans always work but i dont suggest using it long term. aluminum is bad business and tastes shitty. ive got a question of my own. if i were to mold a little spoon out of clay do i have to actually put it into a kiln (spelling?) or can i put it in the oven or something? also what do i do about glazing it? is that necessary? ALSO what do you mean untreated wood, like plywood or something? ive been wanting to widdle my own out of driftwood or something. what would you coat it with so it doesnt burn? sorry for the question sub-question
haha i just mean wood that's been treated with stuff that kills bugs or something, it usually has a green or brownish orange color on the outside. and i deffinitely mean plywood too, even tho i doubt u could make a pipe out of it. i don't think you can put clay in the oven, i don't think it gets hot enough. but i'm not too sure. i don't know about what you could coat the driftwood, but i'm sure there's a natural product you get that won't hurt you when it's burned.
Just use the old plastic bottle idea... Melt a hole with your lighter in the side, and make a carb (optional). The carb can be made by burning a hole through with a cigarette or lighter, choose. cover the "bowl-hole" with tin-foil and push it a little so it makes a bowl that goes into the bottle. I like to use gum to stick the tin foil to the bottle so theres no stray air getting in. Use a pin or sharp knife or pen to poke holes in the foil and there ya go... I recommend making a carb because when you see how much smoke can accumulate in there you'll know why. I ALSO recommend making bigger holes in the bowl, and using a 591ml bottle instead of a two litre or 1 litre bottle. Since you can find bottles anywhere you are, this is a great idea, and you don't have to worry about it getting lost because it takes about 1 1/2 mins to make once you get the hang of it.
look for an old fallen off branch from a spruce and you can pretty much figure out how to drill the holes and such ...oh, and remember to be careful you can easily drill one millimeter wrong and then the hole pipe can be wrecked.
