how do you make a Chiptune

    like im sure i can figure out how it works but i dont have a gameboy anymore... i have a ds though! and i have alot of ds and gameboy advance and gameboy color games and N64 and mostly every newer system. but i want to know where can i find a tracker to start making tunes. do i just need my ds? what do i need? where do i get it? how much money do i need?

    Most people use a DAW like FL or Ableton and any number of VST's that emulate a gameboy, NES, SNES ect. Plogue Chipsounds is one that I use for any video game melodies or arps in my tracks.

    now thats the easy way.
    The hard way would be to take an actual gaming 8-bit system and rewire it to play pulses as a synthesizer and record it into a tracker or any other software with enabled recording.
