Do you love them or hate them? Are they a necessary evil? Do they just take all of the bands earnings? Do they really know what they are doing? Have you ever had a good one? Could your band perform without them? Do they provide you with a certain confidence? Are they indirectly responsible for an artist's success? Do they work with you or against you? Just curious as to the general consensus among musicians. Don't hold back.
it is like any profession...some are keepers and some you take out back and beat...the rest are just stagehands for hire to any tour through iatse
You mean like a sound guy at the club?? the guy behind the board who can make or break your live performance with the twist of a knob no matter how tight and talented you guys are? You definitely need one, and a sound check. if you're talking about something else then do you mean like with Mahavishnu Orchestra used to do where the sound guy would pan the band left/right and other artistic shit?
They're always cranky and like look man I need a spot to put my drink and you've got the only table here I can see :toetap05:
